Wake at the same minute as someone going the same way.
Samewake is an alarm clock that can answer back. It begins with the numbers you trust: whitelist who may wake you, and if one of them set the same minute, your alarm is a live call — you start the day together. If nobody did, Dawn wakes you herself.
Join the waitlist Beta invites go out by email, in order of signup.“Hello — this is Dawn. You asked to be woken now, so here we are. Someone in your circles set this exact minute too. I'm connecting you in three… two… one.”
No match today? The call still comes — Dawn's voice alone, and your day starts anyway. The alarm always fires; a person is the upgrade.
How it works
Three choices, one phone call.
-
Set your minute
06:30 means 06:30 — matching is to the exact minute, so everyone on the call chose the same start.
-
Whitelist who may wake you
Enter numbers privately — no invites go out, and nobody ever sees your list. A connection forms only where it's mutual: you entered them, they entered you, and you both chose the minute.
-
Answer the call
At your minute, your phone rings — Samewake calls you, you never dial. A neighbor, a colleague, a fellow founder — or Dawn, when the minute is yours alone. The line closes on time, at the shorter of the caps you each set.
Every field you fill is a consent
Your profile is a set of whitelists, and every one of them answers a single question: who may call me? Numbers come first; later a language, a city, a town, a district. Filling a field joins that pool — leaving it empty keeps you out. Nothing is mandatory, because each field is its own yes. E.g.:
People chasing the same goal can begin from the identical minute. The first sixty seconds are shared — the difference you're building starts at second sixty‑one.
What we're building before launch
We widen on purpose, ring by ring: first the numbers you trust, then the attributes you share, then the minutes beyond morning. Every phase works on its own.
Waitlist and profiles
We collect who you are, when you wake, and which circles you'd join — exactly the form at the bottom of this page. It becomes your test account.
Dawn calls you
A real phone call at your minute, opening with Dawn's greeting. Works with zero matches from day one — the alarm always fires.
Numbers you trust
Whitelists go live. You enter numbers privately, nobody is notified, and when two people have each other listed and pick one minute, the wake-up becomes a live bridge — three-two-one between voices that already trust each other.
From numbers to attributes
The same consent, one ring wider: add a language, a city, a town, a district to your profile and you've joined that pool — leave the field empty and you haven't. One mechanism, any attribute.
Best match and group wakes
Pairing by stated goals rather than chance; group calls around big events; founders waking founders.
Shared minutes beyond the morning
What starts as a morning wake-up doesn't have to end there — learning, a workout, a walk, lunch, work. Each is only a what; the when is always your own minute. One rule decides where voice belongs: a call must boost the moment, never disturb it, so it ends where the activity begins. Some calls will be seconds long; some will be silent.
The app
The incoming-call screen becomes the alarm on your phone, internet calls bring the cost of a wake-up toward zero, and the whitelists live in your pocket.
Save your spot
When your invite is ready, we'll email you a private link to set up your profile, your whitelists, and your clocks. Every field below is optional, because each field is a consent of its own — fill it and you've joined that pool, skip it and you haven't. Only email is required: it's the consent to be invited.
